  SUMMER CAMP AT CAMP WOLFEBORO - 2010  


Troop 103 will be going to two different Summer Camps this year--from July 18th - July 24th at Camp Wolfeboro and from August 1st - 7th at Camp Wente. Scouts can attend either or both Summer Camps. If you have any questions about Summer Camp ask one of the adult or youth leaders. What to Pack?

The Summer Camp Fees for Wolfeboro this year are $280.00 per scout and need to be paid to the troop based on the following schedule.

May 24thSee noteIf full fees have not been paid late fee applies--total fees are $330 for scouts and for Bridged Webelos.

NOTES:

  • Adults: The fees for those adults attending as part of the official Troop 103 leadership contingent will be paid for by the troop. These are the adults selected by the Scoutmaster to assist at camp--these are normally the trained, uniformed leaders (the troop will pay for at least two [2] leaders). The fee for additional adults is $110.00 imposed by the camp to cover their costs (subject to space being available and Scoutmaster approval). Everyone attending Summer Camp must be registered with the troop.

  • All adults attending Summer Camp must have completed the following training: Boy Scout Fast Start, This is Scouting, Youth Protection, Weather Hazards, and Physical Wellness. These can all be completed on-line.

  • Late Fee:  $30.00 per scout/$15 per adult who has not paid any fees by due date.

  • Please be aware that a Medical Evaluation will be required for all Scouts and Scouters attending Summer Camp. All Medical forms must be turned in no later than the June 14th Summer Camp Meeting.

  • A Fire Arms Permission form is need for each scout.

  • Merit Badge Planning:  A packet of information about Merit Badge Classes and how to sign-up for Merit Badges at each camp will be distributed in the spring when available.

  • Everyone attending Summer Camp is required to attend a Mandatory Youth Protection training scheduled for Monday, May 3rd. In addition, each scout must also attend the Summer Camp planning meeting on June 14th. If the scout does not attend either of these two meetings he will NOT be allowed to attend Summer Camp and may lose some or all of the monies paid.
